In 2019 I was fortunate to qualify for the IGL Retriever Championship at Glen Almond in Scotland, after winning the North West Labrador Club’s two-day Open stake. It was a great experience and we were fortunate to be awarded fourth place. What a great three days we had, with a young dog who was still only 3 years old.
I also judge field trials and working tests, and am a B Panel judge.
I currently have a number of dogs I train myself to run on, or sell as trained or part-trained. I also have some lovely bred bitches and am currently hoping to breed winning Labradors from my stud dogs here in West Wales.
I have the space to offer 1 to 1 training if needed, and can accommodate young dogs to be trained for the shooting field.
We currently pick up twice a week on a small shoot here in Wales, and I am able to give my young dogs the opportunity to get the necessary experience before entering competitions.
